IsenTech Troubleshooting Tips
Know how to access your web-based email account. This is where all of your email in Outlook is populated from, so if you are having an Outlook issue you should always be able to go to your webmail and get your messages.
If all of your systems are without Internet access (never press any reset buttons on any equipment unless told to do so by IsenTech support staff):
1) Is there power to the DSL/cable modem, router, switch and server/s? - are the LED lights
on/blinking on these devices? If not try to determine why there is no power (Power strip
tripped or turned off, device unplugged, etc.)
If the devices have power:
2) Power cycle the DSL/cable modem.
3) Power cycle the router
4) Power cycle the switch
Note – NEVER press any reset buttons on any equipment unless told to do so by IsenTech support staff
If after steps 1-3 all systems still do not Internet access:
5) Power cycle the center server
6) Power cycle client workstations
If after steps 1-5 all systems still do not Internet access:
7) Call IsenTech
8) Call your Internet Service Provider
